We did the usual thing of having pizza and watching Eurovision on SBS last night.
In a result that was almost as cool as last year's victory by Finnish hard rock group Lordi,
Marija Serifovic from Serbia won the competition with her power ballad Molitva.

Marija and gal-pals bring lesbian chic to Eurovision.

:-)

Aside from the total coolness of Marija's act, it was also a really strong song.
I think I'll have to make time to write a little more on Eurovision later...

Well, I'm stuck at home after spending a lot of this morning hurling my guts up, so as I'm not fit for anything else at the moment, I have been wasting time reading people's blogs.

Check out the The Fantasy Novelist's Exam (via John Birmingham). I reckon this would clear out 2/3rds of the books in the SF and Fantasy section at Borders if it was made compulsory.
